osmin Suggestion: Support Android Auto Mode

Since I have broken USB and no Wifi for my car I cannot test this myself, neither I would currently profit from this (!).

Nevertheless the application would of course profit from Android Autp support, especially on bigger screens.

I tried before, and no way to enable the app. The root cause is Auto mode is allowed only for the applications that Google wants to authorize ... there is a short list.

OK, this is sad. I think I remember recent blogs that hinted that Google is now more open. Nevertheless, since I cannot use it anyway currently, this has no priority for me yet :-)

There were again recent articles in Germany that Google is interested in further opening Android Auto for alternative apps. At least I understood, that they meant Android Auto, not Android Automotive.

Regarding overall marketing...

I suggest to subscribe to the OSM blog role and aggresively write blog articles. This way you at least reach to OSM community.

But you need some timing and a long breath. Likely initial feedback will be negative (since the community likely will be critical and picky) and possibly you will be spammed with issues. But this day will come this way or the other anyway ;-)
