No Sonos zone Found Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
Hi, I have 13 Sonos devices including a Sonos Boost on my LAN. They are all working OK via Sonos App/Controllers on my Windows & Android devices.
I've installed Noson (5.6.7) on this Lenovo Linux laptop using the 'Package for Ubuntu' method (about a week ago).
But I'm stuck at "No Sonos zone Found ". Any and all suggestions appreciated. ...
you have to disable the firewall daemon of your Ubuntu desktop. The default configuration of the firewall blocks all traffic in/out for the ports used by the app.
That does make it work. However I can't just leave my firewall permanently disabled. Is there a more specific method that leaves firewall active? (e.g. set a speciifc port for noson access ?)

thanks @sommeeeer I gave that firewall workaround a try. When I start NOSON from the app launcher I still gets stuck at the dreaded "No Sonos zone found". I want to try noson-app --deviceurl=http://<ipaddress>:1400 but which IP address to use? (I have 13 Sonos devices, including a SONOS bridge)
