Noson uses the Sonos API to search items from services. See https://developer.sonos.com/reference/sonos-music-api/search/ . It doesn't use the Amazon API, and so I have no control of that.

The root cause is in snap daemon. You should install the native package for Ubuntu 18.04 from my repository in launchpad or install the flatpak. See http://janbar.github.io/noson-app/index.html.
