Nothing exported but font sizes

Great plugin, fills a much needed gap - however it only exports text sizes and fonts. No colours, no layers nothing else. I assume this is because the plugin looks for layer styles, but many designers using Sketch do NOT use styles - because of the way Sketch cloud and teams work, Styles is a really bad way of recording design information. The plugin needs to read the symbols and component libraries in a Sketch doc to be truly useful.

Colors are currently being included using sharedLayerStyles. Could you provide a bit more info on the symbols/component libraries you refer to?

Symbols and component libraries are the principle way of saving items in a Sketch doc for reuse. Shared layers only record very simple information about color values and in my experience, very few Sketch users populate them. There are plenty of Sketch plugins which extract CSS values from various places in a Sketch document, such as the color palette and the values applied to components in the doc such as buttons, links , H1 etc (these are typically saved as Symbols or Libraries).
