This issue could be the highest-leverage tool we'll have to navigate our support burden. A self-test on in the client's `Diagnostic` tab would be immensely helpful. More ideas / things...

Note that policies will need to retain the `deleted_at` soft-delete functionality since they need to support resurrection. Resources how can be "permanently" deleted once changelogs have been implemented.
