Option to hide "Today" date, for tasks simply dated "Today"
Most of my tasks -- and I imagine most of many others -- are dated to "Today". Currently, that makes the plugin add a line saying "Today" to them, doubling the space these tasks take.
If "Today" tasks are in the filter, they're likely a default. "Today at [specific moment]" or "Yesterday" or "Jul 14" give important information and should still be displayed, but "Today" by itself doesn't add much information, while taking up a lot of screen real state. Currently, the only option is to hide all the date lines, which would get rid of the useful date tags.
Edit: to not make it ambiguous between tasks marked for "Today" and tasks without dates, maybe the option could switch the 2 of them: add a line saying "No Date" to tasks without dates, remove the "Today" line from today tasks.
Did you ever find a way to hide the today line? I have a filter for 'Today' and do not hav "date" set to show, but it still shows 'Today'. It seems pointless considering the whole section is today's tasks.
@sicahjes can you tell me more about why you are still seeing the date? I have a query like this in my daily note and it does not render the date:
filter: "today | overdue"
show:
