what version are you using? That happened with ver 8.8 (13 months ago), and corrected with 8.9 (9 months ago) after the esp32-arduino drivers changed. The current 9.5 or 9.6...

Try this: - at line 873, it takes a picture which will be sent as a still picture before the movie (which may be skipped if you are skipping movies)...

 You need these 2 files in the same folder as the .ino file, and you have to include them in your project -- not sure which ide you are...

Can you post the serial monitor output, or the .txt file from the sd card with debug info.

Another thought - if the stream does not end normally it cannot accurately set the speed, so make the video length short enough that it ends, or end the video...

can you ping it? does it show up on your router? Are you spelling out the entire ip: http://192.168.178.190/ Sometime desklens.local or http://desklens.local/ works. It seems to getting the time...

Do you have the AI-Thinker chip with 4MB of PSRAM? It should write out the psram on the serial monitor.

I'm not sure about that brand with OM or QM on the metal shield - I've heard complaints that it sometimes comes with 2MB of psram, and you need 4MB....
