That's a problem too. My original issue seems to occur when an app doesn't declare X-GNOME-UsesNotifications *or* set an icon name in the notification. Maybe it should be the desktop-id...

If I comment out [src/mconnect/device.vala:311](https://github.com/bboozzoo/mconnect/blob/master/src/mconnect/device.vala#L311), it seems to work. I'm not quite sure this is the right solution, though, since I'm not too familiar with KDE Connect or this codebase....

Is there a workaround for this? How would I go about properly fixing it?
