Adobe software does not detect opencl

Open ThijsLacquet opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

I get the following error on adobe software: image

Both Ungine Heaven and the Geekbench opencl benchmark get scores I expect from the RTX 3050 I am using within the VM. Which indicate that DirectX and opencl are working fine. I think that the problem has to do with the way adobe software detects whether GPU acceleration is available.

Has anyone found a solution for this problem?

So OpenGL/CL is not fully supported by GPU-P on Hyper-V. Repo owner says

https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/opencl%E2%84%A2-and-opengl%C2%AE-compatibility-pack/9NQPSL29BFFF?hl=en-us&gl=us&SilentAuth=1&wa=wsignin1.0

may be of some use but results may vary

The funny thing is, it's flipped around for me, it says OpenGL is unavailable but OpenCL is available. I got this only after installing the compatibility pack. Before, it had told me both were unavailable. Perhaps the latest nvidia driver fixed something and you can use both now? Mine still has no luck :|
