Stop Not Stopping It.

Using Cordova 8.0.0 and Cordova-Android 7.0.0 backgroundvideo makes the recording noise and displays the cam as if its recording but stop does not stop it nor fire the success nor error callbacks. If I stop then hit start again it makes the recording end/start back up noise but again no callback nor is a file created.

Is there a demo? It seems extremely straight forward but maybe I'm missing something.
