[BUG] effects eventually stop working

Open rexendevar opened this issue 9 months ago β€’ 0 comments

I'm not really sure what to call this or how to troubleshoot it. I am on Linux using the vst3 version of osci-render with .txt input, and I notice that when any effect is set to respond to audio input, it will eventually give up and instead create a massive (exactly +1?) DC offset to both output channels.

I don't know whether any particular effect is more prone to this than any other, but I can say that it happened first with bulge, then smoothing and swirl, then vector cancel, and finally Z distort. That was all of the effects I had any use for so I gave up.

DISCLAIMER: Due to having an old version of GCC on my computer I had to build the plugin myself. but I doubt that's the source of the problem.
