Manifest v2 killed this great extension!

Can someone who knows more than me make a fork or update this extension from Manifest v2 to Manifest v3 so it can continue to work on Chrome in 2025?

#36 makes the extension work again.

You can temporarily install it from https://github.com/sun/ColumnCopy until the PR has been merged into the mainline — if the maintainer @jamesandres is actually still active on GitHub… 😬
