Running ccleaner and Tab Reloader
I just have a question, not a problem with Reloader, think Tab Reloader is fine. Did a search and didn't find anything. Whenever I run ccleaner and restart Firefox, none of the tab come up that they will be auto refreshed. However, all I have to do is restart Firefox and the tabs come up showing 5 tabs will be auto refreshed, just like it should. Now I figured that ccleaner was wiping something out and that is understandable. But if in fact ccleaner wiped something out and I do nothing but restart FF and all is well- then whatever Reloader needed must still be there? Doesn't make sense to me, but doesn't really bother me either. Just wonder why, guess I still have some of the IT personality even though I been retired now 16 years. In ccleaner under Firefox I have internet cache, internet history, cookies (I keep selected cookies), download history, last download location checked. Under system Empty recycle, temporary files, clipboard, memory dumps, CHKDSK files, windows log files checked.
CCleaner deletes saved extension settings, if you've checked it.
I finely got off my lazy butt, it cold and snowy out. Tried several things. This is what I ended up with. I have github.com as well as several others cookies that ccleaner will leave alone. Also have Firefox clean cookies when closed except those in my exception list which also includes github.com. I can restart FF and don't have an issue, so it is not deleting any cookies. When I run ccleaner with github.com in the save cookies, still have the problem. If I run ccleaner with clean cookies unchecked I do not have the problem. So from that I would say that a cookie is set that is not github.com, now if I just knew it's name.
What is still strange, the data of tabs is still out there somewhere as when it fails the first time all I have to do is restart FF and all is well.
Not a problem for me, just something I try to figure out now and them. I can just ignore it like that pesky Microsoft DCOM error.
Tmp341, I can't seem to find the delete saved extension setting.
Well what I do know is that it is a cookie that ccleaner is deleting and cookie does not contain name github as I have ccleaner set to save all github cookies.
What is strange, it only fails to fins reload tabs on initial start of FF. Do a restart and it has the 5 tabs all set to reload, so the key settings on tabs is available, it just isn't using them on initial load.
It is not github cookies, it is tab reloader's settings (extension settings) afaik. We need to know what is as tab reloader saved, like tabs.db
etc.
