[feature] Rudimentray RESTful API call on change detection

I understand custom JS code can already by run on detecting a page-hash change. But wouldn't it be nice if the extension UI allowed one to fire off a notification to their smartphone.

For example, with the use of Pushbullet API or Pushover API, a simple URL, perhaps a header, body, HTTP verb fields will do the trick.
