Not working in version 34.0.5 Portable. Did not work on 33 portable eirhter

I just checked the extension on a portable Firefox. Mine was 29.0 and it worked just fine. Have you had other extensions installed on your profile? Maybe you can try it in a clean profile https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

I have 33 active extensions (and 4 non-active) Too much effort to deactivate even binary style

  There is no need for that. You only need to make a new profile.
    Your current profile will be intact.
