Updating Git from msysgit to Git 2.21.x

I noticed in #189 that there's an issue updating past git 1.9.5. Has anyone attempted to update to 2.x (or 2.21.x)?

How can i update Git 2.25.1 for my git server. If i use version 1.95 but client use lastet version may be it run normally?

Apparently it needs some work on Bonobo to be able to update all the parts which connect with Git, but I don't think you'll have any difficulty with the current version and client compatibility. I haven't seen anything, anyway.

I have create a new bonobo git server with git version 2.25.2. Let me test sometime. Thanks for respond
