Font smoothing worse than in evince

I don't know exactly why, but on some documents, evince is better at smoothing fonts. Would it be possible to use same renderer ?

Actually the presenter console uses the same pdf rendering engine evince does (poppler). Therefore the font rendering should be identical. I never had problems with that. Could you provide more information about your environment and possibly a pdf file to reproduce this issue?
