Unable to edit header

Open Gasman2014 opened this issue 7 years ago • 6 comments

It does not seem possible to edit the header row. When you add a column, you cannot add or edit the column header (it remains blank).

Otherwise a nice neat tool that saves firing up Excel for simple edits.

Same issue here,

As a "quick fix" I found the following:

  • if you un-tick the header option on the bottom right corner of the panel, the names become part of the columns.
  • After that, just click on the text boxes on the first line (which was previously the text on the headers). You can now modify them, add new columns, etc.
  • Then, simply tick the header option again and you will get to see the column names again where they belong ;)

My bottom right panel is grayed out, so I can't untick it. Any suggestion?

For me it's enabled after reopening file/app, until the very first editing

Save this file and reopen.

alexrecuenco's trick seems not to work anymore - I am hoping to use tabletool as a lightweight csv editor but can't edit the column headers.

Just worked for me - have to save the file, close it, and then re-open it. You can then modify the header row of the column. Thanks!
