Looks that you update your addon, instead of uninstalling and deleting userdata files...do that and it will work as usual.

Are you using Home Screen shortcuts or widgets? If so, yo should delay its startup, because, service is not available while loading it...

The problem is when using widgets, make sure you delay the skin after services boot completely....there is a skin helper on marcelv repository....

Try changing your Kodi Skin or try another theme/skin, I use Aura....
