Kali/Parrot OS Don't like the kernel

Open CDNZTE opened this issue 5 years ago • 2 comments

Hi All,

I've got a surface laptop 1, I'm running Parrot OS, which is a Debian distro. After installing the kernel, if I boot to it, I get to the encryption passphrase section, and my keyboard doesn't work.

However, my external keyboard does.

I'm not too worried about touchscreen, battery etc, but I'd very much like to get the keyboard working.

Please let me know what info you'd need.

Thanks in advance.

Hey @CDNZTE

What you can do is selecting the surface-kernel option in Advance Options when in GRUB Menu and you would be able to use keyboard and all the features supported.
