Lyrics not working?

What happened?

Well, i suppose i need to see the Lyrics and... i dont see nothing, no icon, no nothing. I log into Genius and says "activated"... but, well, is not working it seems. Thanks for your work!

When Genius has been authenticated in Settings, it will be used to fetch Lyrics from two pages: Kiosk Mode and Track.

Track view (right-click on a track -> Go to track)

Kiosk mode (click small thumbnail in play bar)

Which of these is not working for you?

Hi, i dont notice that! But... sadly i dont get a lot of lyrics, for example from Charly García, a well known argentinean music. Like this song: https://genius.com/search?q=nos+siguen+pegando+abajo

there it is, but Iris says "no results".

I also notice that, the lyrics are not synced. And i see that for example this exist: https://github.com/raitonoberu/sptlrx

this is for synchronized lyrics in the terminal, and works pretty well, except that, of course, i dont want that in the terminal, it will be pretty good if this is integrated into your work. (also this found (at least for now) all the lyrics i search).

Anyway, i see i found a bug! thanks for your work!

Where do you see No results? In the Kiosk mode or on the Track page?

Hi, thanks for the answer. In none:

But i notice something, if after looking for "charly garcía" (and probably others like Silvio Rodriguez, etc.) If after that i search for example for The beatles dear prudence, i get first that the "Kiosk-Mode" is not working, i see the circle like in the capture of Charly garcía, but i get the lyrics of Dear prudence in "go to track"...

And if after that i restart mopidy i get all working fine for Dear Prudence, look:

So... it is like if after some search that for some reason dont work, after that ,some appears but not completely well.(not in kiosk-mode)

So, maybe this are two things. Weird because i cant get some lyrics, and also weird that after i dont get that lyrics, the lyrics that are found dont show in the kiosk-mode.

I'm having problems with lyrics / Genius too. If I go to the track page, I get a toast message saying "Could not get track lyrics". There is a pull-down select box with different lyrics search results but with all of them I get the same message. The mopidy log shows the following error "ERROR [HttpServer] mopidy_iris.handlers HTTP 403: Forbidden"

• I'm on Linux (Raspberry Pi OS)
• I'm running Iris version 3.66.1
• I'm logged into Genius (under settings it shows: Geniuas authorized)

What can I do to solve this problem?

I'm having same issue as @midiwidi , any help? Drop down is there it just doesn't load any lyrics
