Creating accounts
I have not yet installed HashOver. But, based on the test available on this webpage: http://moparx.com/2014/03/implementing-the-hashover-open-source-commenting-system-within-pelican/#comments it seems like the Login feature doesn't actually use a password at all. I was able to "log in" by making up a username and password, and that username information persisted for the session. But after logging out, I was able to log back in with the same username and a totally different password. Does HashOver have the ability to create unique account names that can't be used by other people? (And send them email reset prompts if they forget their passwords?)

HashOver doesn't have a user database, but the username/password fields create the illusion of such. If you are logged in with the same username and password as that used to create a previous comment, then you can edit or delete it, but that's pretty much it.

I don't think so. Because any user details exist only as tied to individual comments, there are no "user accounts" per se. I think the only exception is the administrator user.
Hi All,
Do we have plan to integrate openID with the project or this functionality is already there ?
