removed redundant css width
this is useful to prevent a search bar that is too large in the top-header, maybe just up the limit?
makes sense... I made that leftbar searchbar desktop only, i created mobile toolbar which has search and all (for mobile devices) the current solution looks cramped tbh. What do you think ?
I am honestly loving quartz. Components are well designed and it customizing it is fun. Thank you jacky.

well your intended effect is that it grows on mobile right? desktop we want to make sure it doesnt take up an absurd amount of horizontal space (or we can make the max like 28em or something larger)

well no. In desktop i removed dark mode and reader mode. Search bar doesn't take the whole width because of this 14rem. Searchbar would take up absurd amount of horizontal space because it is bound to the parent container's width.
having more clarity because the search bar grows is usefull for accesiblity and clarity. If a icon is hidden the search bar should grow to fill that empty space.
