I don't have any logs because I frankly do not know how to get PCSX2 to dump a log when this is happening as the emulator is still 'running' but...

Seems like some multi threading issue. When opening settings dialog etc, PCSX2 can save/load current usb plugin state seemingly when qemu is processing stuff, leading to random null pointer errors.
