New Margins system idea
I was wondering if you could make a margins system based off of NYTimes or Wikipedia margins. Instead of using margins, you can use voteshare. And use the Wikipedia palette too. Both the NYTimes and Wikipedia use it but I would much prefer the Wikipedia type
Hi @CenterRightPatriot, I'll look into this. For U.S. elections it isn't super useful since almost every election is two-party. But this might come in handy when implementing elections for other countries, which I do plan to do in the future.
I think it will be useful, the NYTimes replaced their color palette with bubbles which makes it more complicated to see county margins in US elections
I use your website because it functions well with the two decimal points and I think you could add a dropdown for “margin type” and have the classic margins and the voteshare based margins
