intl-tel-input Formatondisplay and formatasuoutype is not working

I have imported the utilsScript and marked formatOnDisplay as true when on wdit screen the flag is not getting updated based on the region for canada even with valid phone number. Tried saving number without formatting and country code and with country codes as well

Can someone pleas help me here

How are you setting the number? Please provide clear steps to reproduce the issue.

Is the number in the input before you initialise the plugin? Or are you setting it afterwards somehow? (if so, how exactly? show me the line of code)
