Service Category Ads Not Posting Anymore
Since yesterday any ad posted under service category gets deleted instantly. The exact same ad when posted directly on Kijiji does not get deleted. This is happening with all multiple accounts with different IP addresses. The ads posted in other categories seem to be fine. Can anyone confirm if they are having the same issue?
I was having random issues during the weekend but seems all good now, how about u?

Did yours fix now? I am still facing same problem as OP

I am still having same issue. Interesting thing is that I can post directly on Kijiji using the exact same IP, account and browser.
Posting in other categories is fine though. Can you double check if you can post using Kijiji-Manager in Services category?
New to GitHub. Would like to discuss recent change in policies from Kijiji. I was also part of mass-ban, and my ads aren't showing up since June-27-2023. Zedjust shall we discuss it.. I'll be searching for a way to get in contact. (as I said, new to github)

Same here. But, I can't post in any other categories, and the accounts are completely banned even posting manually with the same IP, account and browser.
Is your accounts working to post using Kijiji-Manager?
Hey! See my email in my profile if you prefer to contact this way. I'd say pretty much all categories works fine BUT ONE: Services. After a chat with a kijiji employee, they said they were reinforcing some policies: they don't want users to DELETE and REPOST to manipulate visibility. (even tho they were suggesting themselves the "repost method".
Also, I have never used Kijiji-Manager. I was using my own home-made solution which worked for a very long time. The Kijiji employee also told me that they could reinstate the accounts, by sending an email.... and I would believe, by confirming to abide by their 'new policy'.
Not too sure what to think. But it looks like a fun game I won't be able to play anymore.

Just to reiterate, posting on services category work fine when posting directly on Kijiji as opposed to using mingle API. I think it would be very challenging for them to enforce this "new policy" and this is why they have limited it to the services category in the first place. It would be great to know how we came about using mingle API in the first place because when I monitor traffic on the App using mitmproxy, I don't see any reference to mingle API. @jackm?
@FreeGuy182 I will be emailing you shortly.

My accounts all got banned I think after trying the API too much. I emailed them to unban the accounts but they were not willing to unban them, even trying to post manually. I would give API a break for a little bit if your accounts aren't banned yet.
Can I join in on the emails? Or discuss it further here?
I use own App for KJ. Services rarely works good. Sell ads still not so bad but can be better. In latest KJ App they added stuff to App skip proxy so can't track it.
it looks like KJ had bad financial year and need to boost revenue by paid ads so force people to stop use manual reposting so fast.
They still charge in CAD + inflation + they may want to sell company again so investors rush team to get their bigger cut of cake.
and
I can see the api calls being made when posting an add on the App but what I am curious about is where did we find this mingle API? I see no mention of mingle API when monitoring https traffic.

I have dozens of accounts that are in good standing so that's not an issue for me. I have stopped using the mingle API until we figure out what changed.
Sure, I can be reached at [email protected]

This is the API used by the Kijiji Android app. The Kijiji iPhone app may use the same, but I've never checked this.
The website uses a different API last I checked, which isn't as easy to work with.
The last time I sniffed the Kijiji API was at the end of June last year - the very lastest app version may have changed again since then.
I'm in the same boat as Freeguy, All adds but service are posting fine, but the service ads are insta-deleted when posted via kijijii manager, but when posting directly it works fine....
@jackm - not sure if you have the time, but are you able to fix this somehow?
@QwertyCoolMT The only way I could get around was by using the latest API and getting a browser involved to perform some actions. It's a bit slow using this method but I have over 100 accounts and needed to get this working.

Sorry I haven't emailed you yet.
I tried using the same original method, and made a few new accounts, all a no-go. But, yes, they work manual posting in services category.
Is your new method still working currently?
Hi, I see KJ has been added SSL pinning + changed API backend so it's not mingle. anymore.
Can anyone suggest what you did to sniff the traffic for latest App?
As I got broken at that step, literally learned a lot about Frida/rooting Android devices, certificates & signing/aligning apk.
My issue is that KJ stop to show traffic for regular tools like Fiddler/Burp, the only way it start to show is after apply reFlutter over apk.
But issue is that KJ send but not receive any data from API.

Does anyone made it to go?
@SashaDesigN Did you have any luck with this? i'm still stuck and i'd really like to get it going in the next week or two...
