Description

In fixing issue 1015, and in particular, test test_extra_042c, it is obvious that the specific case was fixed, and not the generalized cases. This issue is to expand the testing to include {space}{tab}{tab} for example.

Desired Behavior of Feature

The specific case should be expanded into a more general case.

What Are the Benefits of This Feature?

For users that use tabs and fenced code blocks, would solve parsing issues.
