I Have been trying to connect my macbook mic to jackaudio but it still not working.

My macbook mic cannot be used for jackaudio on qjackctl

Environment: Mac OSX venture 13.3.1

  • JACK Version: Which version of jack2 are you using? 1.9.22
  • Operating System: What operating system or distribution in which version are you using? Mac OS venture 13.3.1
  • Installation: How did you install jack2? package manager

Expected vs. actual behavior

after connecting my jack to the remote server I can here what the other person is saying but the person cannot hear me on mac OS.

i have tried starting qjackctl from my terminal to give it mic access but still nothing works.

any suggestions on what i can do?
