Jack2 net at 44100 samplerate

I am trying to edit Jack2 to start in net mode at 44100hz. I have changed the 48000 frequencies to 44100 in source, and built, but is is still starting at 48000. I have processes that need 44100, and are crashing because Jack is in the wrong frequency. If I start a client at 44100, the server will adjust, but then I am client dependant, not an option in my case.

if using opus, 48kHz is a requirement, it is part of the codec spec

Thanks for reply. Opus is not installed. My problem was I was trying the start the with jackd instead of jack_load netmanager on server. I now have server starting with jack_load netmanager client connecting with jackd -R -d net -a 10.10.3.205 & sleep 2 killall pulseaudio sleep 1 jack_load USBDevice audioadapter -w -a -i "-d hw:1 -p 128 -n 3" &

It works
