There are a few people that created issues saying the galerts package no longer works. I pulled together a few different versions from on github into something that works again. I just needed it to work, not be perfect, so here is my fix (confirmed that it works). If anyone has any comments/suggestions - let me know

what version of python are you using ?

2.7.5 may be the reason is I'm using two-way authentication into google accounts, but with galerts I can't login with application password, but only with main password.
