App store shows only version 0.4.1 available but 0.5.0 is out here on github. I think @jaark has to put his hands on this to solve this?!?

I now use this official app: https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/twofactor_u2f

Works fine for me

@axcro7 : The U2F is a completely different "beast". For example, it currently does not work when using it in browsers within VirtualMachines (Virtualbox). There are seveal benefits to the Yubikey OTP that reduces complexity significantly. @jaark : any plans to update this with NC 18/19 support?

On a side note / Perspective: The next step the world is going to take is "multi-factor".

Immediately when that becomes possible, then this original Yubikey OTP method gets "new life" as one of several useful (and reliable) factors.

(One can also host one's own Yubikey OTP authentication server, which has been open-soure since its inception 10+ (12?) years ago.)
