Image properties not showing preview, width and height when selected in assets folder

When working in the SDK you sometimes want to see a quick preview, thumbnail, width and height of the image one selected under the projects Assets folder.

I have noticed that in jME SDK 3.1 upwards it is no longer working.

Here is an example of how it was in jME SDK 3.0 and then how it is now.

Can you (or someone different) maybe check if this is the case with plain Netbeans 8.0 and 8.1/8.2 as well? (Because we didn't change anything intentionally)

I am able to confirm that I can see the thumbnail in Netbeans 8.2 but NOT in SDK (though I did not check the same file, still have to do that).

The Problem is currently I have NO clue what could've caused this
