I'm anxious for the bug to be fixed.

Any update on this issue? I'm able also to reproduce each time I connect a UltraVNC server. This issue is reported in this thread since 2019 and I don't see...

Just tried Preview v1.77.1 and the issue remains but with different simptoms. It just stops the image but doesn't closes the tab. Anyway, the connections becomes degraded after a while....
