I think this package is not compatible with L5 yet. Do you plan to update?

Hey guys, sorry for the delay in replying. It could definitely use an update and rewrite... It wouldn't be too complicated, but I haven't been using firebase in any projects as of late instead opting for my own sockets.io-based solution for event streams...

I'll try to create an L5 branch this summer as soon as I have a free moment, since this seems to be useful for enough people to make it worthwhile. Thanks for the patience, and sorry it'll take so long!

Hi @j42! If you could create the L5 branch and give me a bit of feedback, I'd like to add support for L5 for this package. I need it and it seems stupid to create a new one...
