What do you mean by "original firmware"? Just flash an older one and you're set. Or compile a new one with reduced protocols. 

I read the other open issues, and it seems like a common, but unsolved issue. I checked the database.db file, and DIDN'T find MOST of those ID in the file....

The devices that show "no components" don't show up in this entities screen. No idea WHERE in the system they are buried. But I'd really like to get rid of...

No big deal. I'm pretty sure you'll get this fixed in no time :) And I started updating in "no irrigation season", so there's lot of time to get that...

Wow. Great. Works now! Though I had to remove the integration and do a home assistante restart. Just removing the integration and updating it didn't work. Case can be closed....
