plex-mpv-shim doesn't support --sub-pos=<> setting.

I have included sub-pos=95 in my mpv.conf file for plex-mpv-shim but when I play a video from Plex, the subtitles still appear at their default position. I did the same for the regular mpv and it worked as intended. Why isn't plex-mpv-shim working the way defined in the .conf file?
