Cast From Remote Not Working
Your app is great and for my side it does work perfectly when im on the same network as the server but is there a way to cast when not connected from the same network as the server
The console doesn't have any errors but :
the cast icon isn't clickable
the shader error isn't a thing since i use mpv externally and it does work at home
even that is not working
says that it's connected but console isn't receiving any connection
I can confirm the shader error is not applicable. If I recall correctly the local connection script is currently broken and I haven’t gotten around to fixing it. (It does what some people would call a “horrible hack” to work, so I’m not super surprised.)
Other solutions for this use case include:
- Cast from Plex Media Player or Plex Desktop
- Cast from the mobile app
- Use Jellyfin MPV Shim which does not have the LAN restriction (but obviously this requires using Jellyfin instead of Plex)
Neither PMP and PD are working for me, only the mobile cast but it just stop the video when i unlock my phone.
