Anime Bulk Subtitle Setting Tool doesn't support ASS subtitles

It did the last time I used it, but something could have changed. More details please?

when i use the script it doesn't select the subtitles, it say S01E01 is not in English.

it's just that with my animes that only have ASS subtitles

It is possible that the metadata on the files is not set. The script requires the language to be set on the subtitle tracks. You can use the "manual by track index" selection mode in MPV Shim to select the subtitles.

but the metadatas are set in the subtitle file (integrates in video file) sdfgsdfgsdfgsdfg

Sorry, but the script only supports files that have an audio language of English. It also must be specified on the tracks. It is intended for the specific case of switching between dubbed (English audio and either no subtitles or sign/kareoke subtitles) and subbed (Japanese audio and full subtitles).

For a more generic solution, feel free to modify the script. The "by track index" mode in MPV Shim will also work. So will https://www.pastatool.com/.
