Usage of new Android photo picker?

Google has released this real nice photo picker - https://developer.android.com/training/data-storage/shared/photopicker - no permissions required, supports cloud storage providers, etc. When I used to do native Android this became my go-to. Is anyone on the React Native side looking into wrapping this?
