(Linux) Missing connection status indicator in the system tray

Describe your environment

  • Device: VM
  • OS name and version: Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS
  • IVPN app version: 3.4.5

Describe the problem

The IVPN app's icon in the system tray does not display the connection status indicator when using the latest version of the GNOME desktop environment

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Update and set the desktop environment to GNOME 40.4.0
  2. Start IVPN-UI
  3. Connect/Disconnect

Observed Results:

The app's tray icon does not display the connection status indicator

Expected Results:

The app's tray icon displays the connection status indicator

Reopening the ticket. Additional issue info: The app icon is visible but it does not change when the VPN state is changed.
