The [Compilation database](https://docs.platformio.org/en/latest/integration/compile_commands.html) is generated at the root of the project starting from PlatformIO Core 6.0. @Insomniac80, thanks for the report. The bug is fixed in the latest development version...

A temporary solution is to use the Energia project ( https://energia.nu/ ) created by @robertinant. Our support for MSP430 is outdated. We don't plan to add support for TM MSP432...
