[Enhancement] Home screen recommendations in other languages/countries

Is your enhancement request related to a problem? Please describe.

For learning languages, sometimes I want to discover new content and channels in the target language. If I have a search, I can search in that language and get results in that language. I have tried searching for the name of the language but you just get videos teaching the language.

Describe the solution you'd like

A way to select the language for the suggestions on the home page. There is already "content country" in the settings which does nothing, so maybe we could use it for that.

Also I have seen some Invidious instances with recommendations in Spanish or Japanese.

Did you try to change "Content country" in invidious preferences?

Yes, it does not seem to change anything.
