offline help

Open 2kfi opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

I did install it using the compose file and it worked when am connected to internet.

now i did set (VERSION) Environment Variable to [1.21.51.02] and it worked while am only online , i did try to set (ONLINE_MODE) to [false] but that did not seem to help , i get this while i am offline

DEBU[0000] Using /data to match uid and gid
DEBU[0000] Resolved UID=1000 from match path
DEBU[0000] Resolved GID=1000 from match path
Using given version 1.21.51.02

and it doesn't load any further. however, while i am online it works just fine.

note : "am not an English native speaker i learnt it from video games , so sorry if am not understandable"

note 2 : "if you need any more info just tell me i'll check it anytime soon"

ONLINE_MODE is only used by Minecraft itself to configure the authentication mode.

The image itself doesn't have an offline / "no network" mode since it still wants to check the given version exists.

I would need to research if that could be skipped though if the file is present.

idk what am talking about right now but couldn't you do something like ( if file-server.jar is here skip scan -----> else download file-server . jar)

i mean am not an expert or anything , i like playing around nothing more :)
