It's Open Source but also uses proprietary software (Google Drive and Google Api)(?). Perhaps, It's true that some apps are considered not totally FOSS on F-Droid or has some "anti-characteristics"

Using other APIs shouldn't be too much of a problem. This will only give a disclaimer flag on F-Droid. Since most internet apps on F-Droid are affected by this. For instance RClone client RCX, Reddit client Infinity, Instagram client Barinsta etc.
