hard dependency on daemons 1.1.0

Just wondering if there a serious requirement to have a dependency on daemons version 1.1.0 My app uses thin which has defined the dependency on daemons to be >= 1.1.4 This makes bundler install apnd version 0.1.0 which is kinda old.

Also there is a hard dependency on json version 1.4.6 where as json version 1.6 is being used on rails at the moment (as far as I can see).

Don't think so. Do you have an app you can try on? If not I can test it a bit more next week.

I've tested this on my app and it works. I cloned a fork of this repo (33m's) and fixed it there. So, I cant send you the pull request unfortunately. He's got a few safety fixes in his branch that I needed as well.
