@mpierre Thanks for letting us know about this. I've introduced a PR ( #226 ) that should resolve this issue.
We've merged #216 which resolves this by making upload errors consistent with all other operations.
This was updated in another PR
I'm happy to report that this issue has been fixed in all regions. Multi-part uploads using the S3 client in a web browser should now work correctly.
