Toolbar does not show up on app

Installed clockwork, published the configuration file but the toolbar does not show up. Also installed the additional javascript library (npm install clockwork-browser) and have the browser extension as well (Chrome). On the server side it is also enabled ('toolbar' => env('CLOCKWORK_TOOLBAR', true).

What am I missing here to enable the bottom toolbar?
