I'm giving up to wait for a solution. I'm installing UserLand + Ubuntu + R on my phone. Although a bit old version it works as a complete R environment.

What's the difference between termux and UserLand? Does UserLand easy play sound like termux has termux-api function ? and how about the speed? Does the speed is low like install ubuntu by Proot in termux ?
I'm using only R and ssh connection. Speed is not below Termux. I don't use sounds. I'm on Android 12 with Pixel 3a.

Compiling R from source isn't my choice. Expected behavior is pkg install R. I prefer using GNU/Linux + R. My be I'll try Rstudio server on my k3s home server (https://www.rocker-project.org/). Zeki Çatav zekicatav.com

it's pity i could not use UserLand in China, it seems the server is blocked in China, i install it from F-droid.
F-droid is the right source of apps 👍
