Password-protected Godot browser games 404 in Firefox & Safari

I am trying to access a browser game prototype that was able to run perfectly fine a couple of months ago. The prototype is password-protected due to it being in active development, and must remain so for testing and feedback purposes. However, I can no longer play the game after clicking "run game" as the page just directs me to a 404. I have tried this both on my Mac and on my Steam Deck with the same results.

To Reproduce:

1. Visit the URL of a password-protected browser game that was created with Godot
2. Type in the password and press enter
3. Access the game page
4. Click "run game" to run the software
5. A new browser window opens
6. The URL in the new browser window results in a "We couldn't find your page" screen

Expected behavior:

1. Visit the URL of a password-protected browser game that was created with Godot
2. Type in the password and press enter
3. Access the game page
4. Click "run game" to run the software
5. A new browser window opens
6. The game starts and becomes playable

Additional context The game works perfectly fine in Chrome and does not open a new browser window to run.
